BJP govt has made qualified youth into delivery boys: Akhilesh

Lucknow, Apr 27 (UNI) Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday said that rising inflation, unemployment, corruption are big issues today.

While talking to the reporters after addressing the meeting of the national and state office bearers of Mulayam Singh Yadav Youth Brigade at party's state headquarters, Akhilesh said, "Jobs are being lost. Youth are not getting work according to their qualifications. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government is not able to provide respectable employment to the youth.

He alleged, "Youth with professional courses have been made delivery boys. The BJP government is snatching the rights given to the people by the Constitution. It is playing with reservation. It is promoting privatisation. Political interference is taking place in appointments," he said.

The SP chief said that the environment of Uttar Pradesh is unsafe for young women. "The government is not able to provide security to sisters and daughters. The fees for education are becoming expensive. Rural and poor children are not able to take admission in professional courses," he said.

He said that the government claimed that Rs 33 lakh crore loan was given to 52 crore people under the Mudra scheme. "In this way, if even a single Mudra scheme beneficiary had given employment to one person, then unemployment in the country would have been completely eradicated and no one would have remained unemployed," he said.

Akhilesh said that arbitrariness and privatisation is happening in the field of education. "SP youth will go among the people against it. All the leaders and workers of SP will go to every village and inform the people about the PDA resolution and will reiterate the resolution to establish the rule of social justice," he said.

Earlier, while addressing the meeting of the Youth Brigade, he said that the youth of SP will go to every village and expose the lies of BJP and tell the people about the PDA pledge.

The SP chief said that the strategy of PDA has prevented BJP from getting a majority in the Lok Sabha elections. "Anarchy is at its peak in the BJP government. Everyone saw that swords were waved in Agra under the protection of the government. If BJP had won four hundred seats in the Lok Sabha elections, swords would have been seen on the roads. It would have become difficult for the people to live," he claimed.

He told the office bearers and workers that whatever incident happens around, they should share the pain and sorrow of the people. "Inform the people about the policies and programmes of the SP. Connect people with the party and increase votes. SP has a strong organisation of youth. They will form the government of SP. Youth should strengthen their booth. Work on the ground. Make the booth win in the elections. The SP government is going to be formed in 2027," he said.
