Bengaluru, Apr 23 (UNI) Karnataka BJP MP Tejasvi Surya on Wednesday said that arrangements had been made for the safe return of the bereaved family of Madhusudan, a victim of the recent Pahalgam terror attack, to Bengaluru, with full coordination from union and state authorities.
Taking to social media platform X, Surya said he had met Pallavi and her son in Srinagar, accompanied by BJP MLA Sunil Sharma, and assured them of all necessary support during what he termed "an unimaginably difficult time."
The mortal remains of Madhusudan, who hailed from Bengaluru and was among those killed in the attack, will first be taken to Chennai and subsequently to his native village in Andhra Pradesh, in accordance with the family's wishes.
The BJP MP also confirmed that Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who is currently in Srinagar, has been in direct contact with the grieving families. Karnataka Minister Santosh S Lad, also present in the Valley, is coordinating efforts to ensure the family’s safe return and dignified repatriation of the deceased.
“We're standing by them completely — until the very last person is taken care of,” he stated.
