BJYM leaders attempt to protest at Assembly over HCU land auction

Hyderabad, Mar 18 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) leaders on Tuesday attempted to stage a protest at the Telangana Legislative Assembly against the government's decision to auction Hyderabad Central University (HCU) lands.
The decision to auction these lands has faced strong opposition from university student unions and various political leaders.
During the protest, police intervened to prevent the demonstration, leading to heightened tensions in the area. BJP MLA Eleti Maheshwar Reddy, who participated in the protest alongside BJYM leaders, was arrested along with several demonstrators. The arrested individuals were later taken to the local police station.
