Body of nurse found in medical college in Shahjahanpur

Shahjahanpur (UP), Apr 28 (UNI) The body of a nurse working in a private medical college was found in her room under mysterious circumstances in Tilhar area of Shahjahanpur district here in Uttar Pradesh on Monday, a senior police officer said here.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajesh Dwivedi said that after studying to be a nurse in Varun Arjun Medical College under Tilhar police station, Aarti Deval (26) started working in the same college. "She lived in an accommodation built in the medical college campus itself. On Monday, when she did not reach the hospital, her colleagues went to her residence and found the door of the room locked from inside," he said.
He said that after this, the police was informed. "When the police broke the door of the room and looked inside, Aarti was lying dead. It is believed that she had taken an excessive amount of anesthesia due to which she died, but the family is accusing of murder," he said.
The SP said that further action will be taken on the basis of the postmortem report.
