Congress suffers heavy losses where Rahul visits: Sahni

Patna, May 16 (UNI) Bihar Social Welfare Minister and senior JD(U) leader Madan Sahni said that Congress had suffered heavy losses where party leader Rahul Gandhi visited.
Sahni told media persons here it was a complete move on the part of Gandhi for planning to address a political meeting in the premises of Ambedkar hostel, a centre for studies.
Despite the denial of permission to hold a meeting in the premises of the hostel, Gandhi forcibly went there and addressed students, violating the prohibitory order of the district administration, he added.
" It is now a proven fact that Congress suffers heavy losses where Gandhi visits ", JD(U) leader said, adding that Congress had no mass base in Bihar and despite
best efforts, there was no scope for the party in the next state assembly elections slated for October-November this year.
" Violation of prohibitory orders by the district administration can not be tolerated at all as law is the same for everyone and it should be respected by even a person holding a high position ", Sahni said that despite feeling shamed, Congress leaders were propagating it as a great political activity. Congress leaders had freshened the memories of the RJD regime by their rude behaviour with utter disregard for laws, he pointed out.
