Construction workers to get pension of Rs 12,000 per annum: Maha minister

Mumbai, Mar 25 (UNI) Labour Minister Akash Fundkar announced in the Maharashtra Assembly on Tuesday that construction workers registered with the Workers Welfare Board will be given a pension of Rs 12,000 every year after the age of 60 years.
Making this announcement in the lower house, he said that this decision had been taken to secure future of the construction workers and their families.
Accordingly, the workers registered with the Maharashtra Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Mumbai will be given a pension of Rs 12,000 every year, he added.
