India's health system largest in the world, capable: Nadda

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Apr 27 (UNI) Union Health Minister J. P. Nadda on Sunday asserted here that India's health system is the largest in the world and has made massive progress.
"Our country is at the forefront in vaccination, women's health, child health and other medical service facilities and new areas have been opened in our country through medical tourism," Nadda said.
Nadda was speaking on the occasion of the inauguration function of 'Kaushalam - The Skill Lab of R. K. Damani Medical College, Shri Ramchandra Institute of Medical Foundation under the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Medical Foundation.
Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Bhagwat Karad, Entrepreneurs Rrushi Kumar Bagla, Umesh Dasharathi, Dr. Videsh Kesari, Dr. Satish Kulkarni, Dean of the college Dr. Swati Shiredkar, various heads of departments of the medical college and students were present.
Nadda said the legacy of Dr. Hedgewar's service is being continued through this hospital. And this institution is dedicated to health care. Keeping the sustainable goal of health care in mind, this hospital has served the poor patients of society in a mission mode.
Nadda said technology is changing the health care systemd and should be used to improve the health of the common man.
Nadda said that despite the huge population and geographical diversity, the health system in India is capable and progressive. "India has created an opportunity to produce more and more doctors who are experts in various subjects at the global level, and doctors providing medical services in this country have created a special place for themselves abroad as wellm: he said.
