Indonesia determined not to join sanctions against Russia - Russian Official

Jakarta, Apr 16 (UNI) The Indonesian leadership has firmly decided not to join sanctions against Russia, Russia's trade representative in Indonesia, Alexander Masaltsev, said on Wednesday.
"I would like to emphasize the firm position of the current [Indonesian] leadership, which did not join economic sanctions against Russia. The initiators of these sanctions have gained nothing but losses and lost profits from losing positions in the attractive Russian market, and the economy of my country, Russia, has only gained additional incentives for development and the elimination of the imbalance between the Western and Eastern vectors of foreign trade relations," Masaltsev said at a business event of the Moscow Export Center.
The representative composition of the event’s participants "confirms the interest" of business groups from Russia and Indonesia in further developing mutually beneficial multifaceted cooperation, the trade representative noted.
