Investment-friendly policies have brought change in industrial development: Rajasthan CM

Jaipur, May 1 (UNI) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Thursday said his government has brought about a change in the industrial development and entrepreneurial environment in the state by introducing various investment-friendly policies and organising the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit in the first year of its tenure to promote investment and job creation.

Sharma was chairing a review meeting of the Bureau of Investment Promotion (BIP) at the Chief Minister's residence. He directed the officials concerned to monitor the progress of investment proposals on the ground and the employment opportunities generated from them.

The Chief Minister said this government is providing various concessions and necessary facilities to investors through the Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme (RIPS-2024).

He emphasised that a detailed study should be conducted on investment proposals to be included in the customised package, in addition to the benefits under RIPS.

Sharma reiterated the state government's commitment to providing all possible facilities to investors who are serious about progressing with their investments within the specified timeframe, with the aim of increasing state revenue and employment opportunities.

He reviewed investment proposals in detail and gave instructions regarding the provision of benefits based on the progress of these proposals.

The meeting discussed proposals related to packages, concessions, exemptions, and other facilities payable to industries. The Chief Secretary and senior officials from the departments of water resources, finance, revenue, energy, industry, and mines were present during the meeting. UNI XC AKT SSP
