Nashik, Mar 26 (UNI) A case has been registered against comedian Kunal Kamra at Manmad Police Station for allegedly defaming Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena (Shinde) president Eknath Shinde by writing a derogatory poem.
On the other hand, the Nashik branch of Bharatiya Jannatya Sangh has come out in support of Kamra.
Shinde group's city chief Mayur Borse, along with Shiv Sainiks, entered the Manmad Police Station and filed a formal complaint against Kamra.
Based on this complaint, the Manmad Police has registered a case against Kamra. Later, the case was transferred to the Khar Police Station in Mumbai.
