Day temperatures above normal at many places over east Uttar Pradesh

Pune, Mar 29 (UNI) Day temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) ) at many places over east Uttar Pradesh and Gangetic West Bengal; at a few places over Bihar and Assam and Meghalaya; at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura.
The Day temperatures were above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at many places over east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam and Telangana; at a few places over Chhattisgarh and Lakshadweep; at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and west Uttar Pradesh.
These were appreciably below normal (-3.1°C to -5.0°C) at a few places over east Rajasthan; at isolated places over Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Punjab; below normal (-3.0°C to -1.6°C) at a few places over Gujarat state; at isolated places over west Madhya Pradesh and near normal over rest parts of the country.
