Maha: Commissioner of Latur Municipal Corporation commits Suicide

Mumbai, Apr 6 (UNI) In shocking news from Latur in Maharashtra, Latur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Babasaheb Manohare was seriously injured after he made an attempt to commit suicide, officials said here on Sunday.
According to details available, Manohare shot himself in the head with his own pistol at 11:45 pm on Saturday night and is being treated at a private hospital for a critical bullet injury.

Latur’s superintendent of police (SP) Somay Munde, while talking to the media, said that preliminary investigation indicates that the municipal commissioner used his licensed pistol to fire a bullet in his head.
He said forensic experts and police have reached the spot, and the investigation is going on.
