Maha: Senior Marathi literary writer Dr Tara Bhavalkar selected for Pracharya R K Kabarkar Purskar

Kolhapur, Apr 1 (UNI) Senior Marathi author, researcher and president of 98th Marathi Sahitya Sammelan, Dr Tara Bhavalkar, has been selected for this year's prestigious 'Pracharya R K Kabarkar' award on behalf of the Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
Making this announcement in a press conference at University here on Tuesday, vice-chancellor Dr Digambar Shirke announced the name of Dr Bhavalkar for her contribution to fields of literature and research.
The selection committee has selected Dr Bhavalkar's name unanimously, he informed.
The award function will be held in auditorium of Shivaji University on April nine, in the presence of senior thinker and scholar in Sant literature Dr Sadanand More, he added.
