Mamata saddened at passing away of veteran actor Manoj Kumar

Kolkata, Apr 4 (UNI) West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday expressed her sadness at the passing away of veteran Bollywood actor Manoj Kumar.Octogenarian Manoj Kumar, known for his roles in patriotic films such as Purab Aur Paschim and Kranti, died at 87 in Mumbai.
Kumar was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai, where he died at 3:30 am on Friday due to heart-related complications.Saddened by the demise of veteran actor and filmmaker Manoj Kumar today, Banerjee said in a condolence message." Known for his patriotic films, 'Bharat Kumar', as he was oftencalled, represented the idea of devotion to the motherland.His death is a great loss for our cineworld."" My condolences to his family, friends, and countless admirers," theCM concluded.
