Man kills wife in Agra, keeps body in house for 3 days

Agra (UP), Apr 1 (UNI) A man killed his wife, kept her body in the house for three days in an attempt to dispose it in the Nai ki Mandi area of Agra district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Tuesday.
Police sources said that the incident came into fore when the deceased's sister suspecting an untoward incident informed the police, which broke the door of the house in Sundarpada locality and recovered the body.
Police sources said that Parvati, a resident of Bhopal, used to live with her sister Geeta in Raniganj after the death of her parents. "Parvati met Shakti three years ago after which they had a love marriage," they said.
Police sources said that Parvati's sister Geeta told the police that she was calling Parvati for three days, but her phone was not reachable. She also called Shakti, but he also did not pick up the phone," they said.
Police sources said that Geeta told that apprehending something untoward she informed the police. "When the police broke the door, they recovered Parvati's body lying on the bed inside. The vein of her hand was cut and there was a cut mark on her neck. The police called the forensic team and collected evidence from the spot," they said.
Police sources said that the deceased's sister has filed a report in the matter. "The police have started searching for the absconding Shakti. The reason behind the murder is likely to be revealed only after his arrest," they said,
