Youth accused of kidnapping minor commits suicide in UP

Firozabad (UP), Apr 2 (UNI) A 23-year-old youth, who was accused of kidnapping a minor girl, hanged himself and committed suicide in the Linepar area of Firozabad district here in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that the incident took place in Kurikupha village where the body of the youth was found hanging from a tree in the morning. "The youth was identified as Keshav Kumar," they said.
Police sources said that the father of a minor girl had registered a case against the youth for kidnapping and enticing his daughter. "The girl was recovered on Tuesday evening. The deceased was the only son in his family whose marriage was also fixed by the family members, which was to happen after a month," they said.
