Mild tremor jolts Chamba, no damage reported

Shimla, May 19 (UNI) An earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale struck Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district at 10.44 am today. The tremor was recorded within a 28-km radius of the Chanju Kali Mata Temple.
According to officials, there have been no reports of any loss of life or property due to the quake. However, the sudden tremor amid changing weather conditions caused concern among residents.
Chamba Sub-Divisional Officer Priyanshi Khati confirmed that the tremor did not result in any casualties or damage. Authorities continue to monitor the situation, but normalcy has been maintained in the region.
