Militant nabbed in Manipur

Imphal, May 23 (UNI) Security forces arrested a man, allegedly a cadre of an outfit from Saiton Awang Leikai, near Ngairong village under Phougakchao Ikhai-PS, Bishnupur district according to police.

Police said on Friday that Manipur Police also recovered a vehicle in a special drive conducted for recovery of stolen/snatched vehicles from anti-social elements/ miscreants. Further, tinted glasses were removed from 40 vehicles by Manipur Police in the special vehicle drive.

Police and security personnel also ensured movement of 225 vehicles carrying essential items along NH-37 .
