Mortgage loan available on Occupant Class 2 land: Maha minister

Mumbai, Mar 26 (UNI) Farmers holding land as Occupancy Class II in Maharashtra will now be able to get loans on that land, removing hurdles in getting loans from banks.
A circular in this regard was issued by the Revenue Department on Wednesday.
Notably, the officials of the District Central Bank of Satara held a meeting regarding the land of Occupant Class II on March 11 and brought this issue to the attention of the Revenue Department.
