Naval car rally “Nautical Trail” flagged in

Chennai, Mar 21 (UNI) The Indian Navy's car rally “Nautical Trail” returned to Chennai on Friday
evening from Kanyakumari, after 19 days of crisscrossing four states.
On their return, the expedition was flagged in by the Flag Officer Commanding Tamil Nadu and
Puducherry (FOTNA), Rear Admiral Satish Shenoy, in the presence of the INS Adyar Station
Commander Captain Manu Roy and Hyundai Motor India President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr Unsoo Kim among others at the Naval Station.
The expedition “Nautical Trail” consisting of 15 cars covered over 3,080 kilometers during the
journey, meeting more than 3,500 students on their way.
The youth were briefed about various career opportunities in the defence force, the adventurous
life of sailors at sea and India's maritime security.
The whole expedition was organized into two legs, with the participation of 60 members including
16 women, drawn from among the naval officers, sailors and their families.
