Two killed, four injured as car turns turtle in Telangana

Gadwal (Telangana), Apr 19 (UNI) Two persons were killed on the spot and four others injured seriously when the car in which they were travelling lost control and turned turtle on National Highway 44 at Itikyal Mandal in this district on Friday midnight.

The accident occurred when they were proceeding to Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh, from Hyderabad, Telangana, police said.

The injured were shifted to the Government Hospital, Kurnool, for treatment.

The deceased were identified as P Pullareddy (62) and Lakshmi Subbamma (52).

A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway, police added.
