Nitish greets people on occasion of Eid festival

Patna, March 30 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar extended his warm wishes to the people on the occasion of the Eid festival.
In his message Kumar hoped here on Sunday that the prayers offered by the devotees during the month-long Ramzan festival would bring prosperity in the society.
He wished the harmony to prevail among the people on the occasion.

Five including BDO sentenced for abetting suicide

Patna, Apr 3 (UNI) An Additional Session Judge Chhedi Ram sentenced five people, including the deceased's wife and his relative, a Block Development Officer (BDO), to three years of rigorous imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 10,000 each for abetting an Engineer Vishal Kumar Singh to commit suicide.

Exotic animals worth Rs 1 3 crore seized in Mizoram near Myanmar border

Aizawl, Apr 3 (UNI) Mizoram’s Environment, Forests & Climate Change Department, along with the Assam Rifles, seized a consignment of exotic animals worth approximately Rs 1.3 crore at Zokhawthar village on Wednesday. The animals were being smuggled from Myanmar, officials of the Champhai Forest Division said.

Punjab: MMTYS gets Rs 100 crore budget
