Nitish inspects preparations for Khelo India Youth Games 2025 beginning on May 4

Patna, Apr 27 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday inspected ongoing preparations for Khelo India Youth Games 2025, to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 4.
Kumar alongwith senior officials reached Patliputra Sports Complex and thoroughly inspected preparations being made for Khelo India Youth Games 2025, set to begin on May 4. To be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 4, the event will continue till May 15.
Chief Minister also took a view of largest Madhubani painting of the world which would be displayed during the Khelo India Youth Games. A certificate of Guinness book of world record, recognising largest Madhubani painting of the world was also handed over to Chief Minister during his visit to stadium.
Kumar also inspected all facilities being made available to organise to the event successfully. He also personally took on spot account of the practice facilities for sports persons participating in the event.
A total of 28 games would be organised and players from 28 states and 8 union territories are set to participate in the event.
Five cities including Patna, Gaya, Rajgir, Bhagalpur and Begusarai have been selected as venues for the event where 8500 players could be seen in action during the biggest sports event of the country from May 4 to May 15.
Principal Secretary to CM Dr S Sidharth, Secretary to CM Kumar Ravi Director General cum Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bihar State Sports Authority Ravindran Shankaran accompanied Chief Minister Kumar during the inspection.
