Manipur Agriculture Director asks farmers to use innovative ideas, technology

Imphal, Mar 4( UNI)The farmers of Manipur were appealed by Peter , Director Department of Agriculture to visit the department for any kind of queries and requested to bring out new innovative ideas.
He asked all the officials working in this field to devote the first half of every working day in the field. This would help the knowledge and inputs from the officials to reach directly to the farmers, thereby helping in developing a more synergy environment, he said on Tuesday.
Under the theme ‘Celebrating Successful Farmers’,Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Lamphelpat conducted a Farmers' meet cum Exhibition at Loktak Farmer’s Training Hostel, Lamphelpat Imphal .
