Bihar assembly adjourned till lunch following ruckus on Waqf bill

Patna, Mar 26 (UNI) Bihar assembly was adjourned till lunch following ruckus of the opposition on waqf bill on Wednesday.
As soon as the house assembled for the day the opposition members were on their toes on the issue of Waqf bill. CPI(ML) member Satyadev Ram describing it as the most serious issue demanded from the speaker Nand Kishor Yadav to take up the adjournment motion on the related issue suspending all other enlisted business for the day.
The Speaker requested the members to remain silent as he had to share some information.
The speaker made some customary announcements in the house after which the opposition members shouting slogans against the government trooped to the well.
The speaker took up the Question Hour proceeding amid pandemonium which however remained disrupted due to the ruckus and chaos.
When the opposition members aggressively shoved the government reporters, lifted the chairs and tried to overturn the reporters table, the speaker asked them to refrain from doing so.
Speaker Nand Kishor Yadav said that a government employee was injured due to their behaviour on Tuesday in the house. Branding their act as anti democratic, Yadav said it seems that the opposition was an enemy of the democracy.
He also asked his staff to note down the name of the member behaving aggressively.
Yadav tried to bring the house in order filling which he adjourned it a lunch.
