Congress to hold Tiranga rally in Manipur in solidarity with Armed Forces

Imphal, May 8 (UNI) : Congress party in Manipur has decided to stop its Save Constitution campaign and other activities in view of the latest developments in the border areas, an official said here on Thursday.
N. Bupenda Meitei, AICC Member and Senior Spokesperson addressing the media said the Congress has been organising various state and national level programmes including 'Save the Constitution' campaign .
"The AICC has decided to pause all the party activities as a mark of solidarity to the Armed Forces in this critical hour," he said.
Congress will also organise Tiranga Rally on Friday in Manipur. State party chief K Meghachandra will spearhead the rally.
He affirmed that the Congress has decided to extend full support and solidarity to the Armed Forces.
For the unity and integrity of the nation, the party will support Operation Sindoor and extend all assistance to the government, he added.
Senior Vice -President , Vidyapati Senjam and Vice - President Hareshwar Goshwami also attended the conference and appealed to all to extend solidarity with the Armed Forces of our country in Operation Sindoor and holding Tiranga Yatra in Manipur, at Congress Bhavan in Imphal. UNI NS ANV SSP
