Bihar: 27 Kg explosives confiscated in Jamui

Jamui, Feb 26 (UNI) Sleuths of Sashastra Seema Bal ( SSB) and local police in a joint operation confiscated 27 Kg explosives from Chheniya Pakhal hills under Khaira police station area in the district.
SSB 16th unit Commandent Anil Kumar Pathaniya said here on Wednesday that a raid was conducted on the hills following a tip off. On the basis of an indication of the dog squad, four suspicious sacks were found in a crack in the rock.
The explosives were packed in the sacks, which were destroyed by the bomb squad.
