Patna, May 12 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday extended greetings to people on the occasion of Buddha Purnima and called upon them to imbibe his teachings.
Kumar, in his message on the occasion, said that life of Lord Buddha was inspirational for everyone and his teachings to live with the spirit of love, affection, peace, non violence and sacrifice were still relevant. People should imbibe teachings of Lord Buddha in letter and spirit to make their lives easy and relevant, he added.
" It is time for us to live together in an atmosphere created in accordance with teachings of Lord Buddha ", Chief Minister said, adding that people should further strengthen the bondage of love and affection among them.
Kumar also worshipped Lord Buddha at Buddha memorial park and at his official residence one Anne Marg.
