Odisha introduces “magic book” for small children of class I and II as per  NEP 2020

Bhubaneswar, Apr 29 (UNI) Odisha has introduced a magic book (Jadu pedi) for small children as per the New Education Policy 2020.
This kit ,prepared by the NCERT ,will be provided to children of Sishu Batika, first and second class.
Official sources said Rs.20,000 has been spent on each kit which will be distributed to 45,000 schools in the state and at a total cost of Rs.90 crore
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi himself saw the Jadupedi intended for children in Shishu Batika at Lok Seva Bhawan and inquired about its usefulness for children.
Commissioner of Schools and Public Education Department and Administrative Secretary Shalini Pandit informed the Chief Minister about the various items inside the Jadupedi.
Majhi expressed happiness after seeing the items inside this Jadu Pedi and said that small children can learn about the materials used in their surroundings and their usefulness from the toys in this Jadupedi.
Children will learn from the toys in this magic book and will also be attracted to the lessons, he said.
