Tejashwi accepts challenge of NDA leaders for debate

Patna, May 22 (UNI) Senior RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Thursday accepted the challenge of NDA leaders for debate on the prevailing scenario in Bihar, saying they should fix the date and venue for the purpose.

Yadav told media persons that law and order situation in Bihar had collapsed totally as criminals were striking at their will. Police were committing atrocities on innocent people including students and women while their political masters remained silent spectators, he added.

RJD leader said that he had accepted the challenge of NDA leaders for a debate on the prevailing scenario in Bihar, be it law and order or any other issue. NDA leaders should fix the date and venue for the purpose, and he would reach there for the debate, he added.

" In Bihar Assembly, government does not allow debate on any issue, but NDA leaders are now challenging for a debate, which I accept ", Yadav said, adding it was known to all that the government had blamed rats for the breakage of embarrassment. Bihar police had maintained that seized liquor kept in police stations was drunk by rats, he pointed out.

" How can the government check crimes by taking action against criminals if it is unable to control rats?", Yadav said adding that rats had recently attacked a patient in a government hospital, causing injury to his finger.
