Nitish committed to protecting interests of all sections of society, JD(U) on Waqf

Patna, Apr 01 (UNI) Amid raging controversy over Waqf Board Amendment Bill and nationwide protests of Muslims, the JD(U) on Tuesday made it clear that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was committed to protecting the interests of all sections of the society.
Sanjay Jha, working president of JD(U), told media persons that as long as Kumar is in politics,
interests of all sections of the society would be protected. Waqf Board Amendment Bill would not be placed in Parliament for approval in its earlier form, he stated.
