Lucknow, May 6 (UNI) In yet another reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 14 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, including police chiefs of seven districts, an official spokesman said here on Tuesday.

The spokesman said that in the late-night reshuffle on Monday, Inspector General of Police (IG) Varanasi Zone Mohit Gupta has been posted as Secretary in the Home Department. DIG Maha Kumbh Mela, Prayagraj Vaibhav Krishna has been transferred as DIG Varanasi Zone.

DIG Saharanpur Zone Ajay Kumar Sahni has been shifted to Bareilly Zone in the same capacity. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Muzaffarnagar, Abhishek Singh, has been shifted as DIG Saharanpur.

SSP Ayodhya Raj Karan Nayyar and SSP Gorakhpur Dr Gaurav Grover have swapped places. SSP Etawah Sanjay Kumar has been transferred to Muzaffarnagar in the same capacity.

Commandant 35th Battalion Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) Anup Kumar Singh has been posted as SP Fatehpur. SP Kaushambi Brajesh Kumar Shrivastava has been transferred as SSP Etawah.

Deputy Police Commissioner (DCP), Ghaziabad Police Commissionerate, Rajesh Kumar-II has been transferred as SP Kaushambi. SP Fatehpur Dhawal Jasiwal has been posted in place of Rajesh Kumar-II.

SP Sant Kabir Nagar Satyajeet Gupta has been shifted as DCP, Kanpur Police Commissionerate. SP Railway, Gorakhpur, Sandeep Kumar Meena, has been posted as SP Sant Kabir Nagar. SP Anti Corruption Organisation, Lucknow, Laxmi Narain Mishra, has been shifted as SP Railway Gorakhpur.
