Govt committed to providing modern education to minority children: Yogi

Lucknow, Feb 25 (UNI) While criticising the Samajwadi Party's (SP) narrow mindset, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government is committed to providing modern education to the children of the minority section, ensuring they are not confined to traditional madrasas.
During debate on the Motion of Thanks on the Governor's address in the Legislative Council during budget session, the CM said, "Instead of being limited to becoming mullahs and maulvis, they should have equal opportunities to pursue careers as doctors, engineers, scientists and litterateurs."
