Passports, documents recovered from Pak spy's house in Shamli

Shamli, May 16 (UNI) Noman Ilahi, who was arrested from Panipat on charges of spying for Pakistan was brought to his house by a team of Haryana police in Kairana town of Shamli district here in Uttar Pradesh on Friday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that when the police searched Noman's house in Kairana's Bazar Begumpur during which passports and other documents of many people were recovered from his house. "Noman was arrested by Panipat police three days ago. He was spying for Pakistan while staying at his sister's house," they said.
Police sources said that during Operation Sindoor, he was sending information about army movement and trains to Pakistan. "He was in touch with Iqbal Kana, a resident of Shamli, who was working for Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI for a long time. "He was instigating the youth here to do treasonous acts by luring and deceiving them. Noman was also in touch with him for a long time," they said.
Police sources said that during Operation Sindoor, he was sending information about the movement of the Indian army and the movement of the Indian Railways to Pakistan through social media. "Apart from this, he has also sent confidential information to Pakistan. The investigation agencies are trying to find out what information he sent to Pakistan," they said.
Police sources said that the investigation agency brought him to Shamli at around 6 am. "The agency reached Begumpura market in two vehicles along with spy Noman. Here the team got the lock of the spy's house opened and searched the house for a long time," they said.
Police sources said that during this the local police was also with the team. "The agency took away a large number of passports and other documents of different people from inside the house of Pakistani spy Noman," they said.
