One shot dead, three injured in firing during dispute over road in UP

Sambhal (UP), Apr 30 (UNI) One person was killed and three were injured in firing allegedly during a dispute over a road in Kudh Fatehgarh area of Sambhal district here in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, police sources said here.
Sources said that CC tiles are being constructed under MGNREGA in Bhikanpur village under Thana Kudh Fatehgarh. "During the construction work, a dispute broke out between Subhash Yadav and Sahib Singh," they said.
Police sources said that during the dispute, the people from Subhash's side opened fire in which Sahib sustained bullet injuries and died on the spot. "Three other persons were injured in the firing. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot but before that the accused fled from the spot," they said.
ASP Shrish Chandra said that the injured have been admitted to the hospital. "Raids are being conducted to search for the accused," he said.
