Naveen Jindal chairs meeting of District Development, Coordination and Monitoring Committee

Kaithal, May 3 (UNI) MP Naveen Jindal today directed officials of the Agriculture Department in Kaithal to promote organic farming instead of traditional farming, and to outline a plan to provide markets to farmers. He also said that necessary steps should be taken regarding crop residue management.
MP Naveen Jindal was presiding over a meeting of the District Development, Coordination and Monitoring Committee in the auditorium at the mini Secretariat here on Saturday.
MLA Pundri Satpal Jamba, District BJP President Jyoti Saini, DC Preeti and all the officials from the district were present. The MP took a meeting in three phases, in which information was provided to him about the works being done under 41 schemes related to different departments and while discussing each agenda, he gave instructions to provide relief to the people.
