Poor condition of school toilets becoming health hazard for children in Haryana: Selja

Chandigarh, May 3 (UNI) Former Union Minister and MP from Sirsa, Kumari Selja said on Saturday that the lack of toilets and the poor condition of existing ones in Haryana's schools is a serious issue that needs immediate attention.
She said that the government should take this issue seriously and take steps to ensure adequate and clean toilets are available in schools. Many schools lack sufficient toilets for children, hindering their basic needs. The toilets are often dirty and in bad condition, creating a health risk for children.
She said that a lack of clean toilets can promote the spread of infectious diseases and negatively impact children's health.
