Seven IPS officers transferred in UP

Lucknow, Mar 20 (UNI) In a minor reshuffle the Uttar Pradesh government has transferred seven officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS), an official spokesman said here on Thursday.
The spokesperson said that Inspector General of Police (IG) of Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Upendra Kumar Agarwal has been transferred as IG Security. He will replace Vinod Kumar Singh, who has been sent to Kanpur Commissionerate on the post of Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime and Headquarters).
He said that Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) in Lucknow Police Commissionerate Amit Verma has been transferred to Crime and Headquarters in Lucknow Police Commissionerate on the same post. He will replace Bablu Kumar who has been transferred in place of Amit Verma.
