Justice for all, injustice to none is govt commitment: Yogi

Gorakhpur, Apr 7 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met nearly 300 people during the Janata Darshan at Gorakhnath temple during which he heard their concerns and assured them there was no need for fear or anxiety on the second consecutive day of his visit to Gorakhpur on Monday.

Assuring the people who had come with their concerns, the CM said, "Every complaint will be acted upon with certainty and each issue will be resolved."

Emphasising the government commitment to responsive governance, Yogi directed the officials to treat every grievance with seriousness and sensitivity. "Resolving people's issues promptly and satisfactorily is a top priority of our government," he said.

During the Janata Darshan, he approached individuals seated outside the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan in the Gorakhnath temple complex one by one, listening to each problem attentively. "No one will face injustice. The government is committed to ensuring fair treatment for all," he said.

Several women raised concerns over land disputes, with some alleging attempts by local musclemen to forcibly seize their property. Taking the matter seriously, the CM directed the officials to act firmly. “Identify habitual land grabbers as land mafia and initiate strict legal action against them," he directed.

He said, "Ensure that action taken against those encroaching on the land of the poor sets an example for others. Land disputes should be resolved swiftly, and the aggrieved must walk away with a sense of justice and satisfaction."

While reviewing applications, Yogi directed the officials to ensure that each grievance is resolved promptly, effectively, and to the satisfaction of the complainant. Addressing matters related to family disputes, he emphasised the importance of dialogue, directing officials to bring all parties together for open communication as a first step toward resolution.

Several women arrived with their children and he warmly interacted with them. He blessed the children with affectionate gestures, inquired about their studies, encouraged them to work hard and gifted them chocolates.

The CM began his morning at Gorakhnath temple with his customary routine, offering prayers and paying tribute at the Samadhi Sthal of his Gurudev, Brahmalin Mahant Avedyanath. He then toured the temple premises, visited the Gaushala, performed Gau Seva, and lovingly fed roti and bananas to a peacock near the cowshed.

While walking through the temple premises, the CM noticed children who had arrived with their families. He called them over, interacted with them playfully and distributed chocolates with warmth. In a touching moment, when a small child struggled to open a chocolate wrapper, Yogi gently unwrapped it himself and handed it back.
