TN: Three killed, 5 injured as SUV rams into share autorickshaw

Madurai (Tamil Nadu), Mar 29 (UNI) In a tragic incident, three agricultural labourers, including two women, were killed and five others grievously injured, when a speeding sports utility vehicle (SUV) rammed into the rear-side of a share auto-rickshaw at Paraipatti village on the Madurai-Virudhunagar National Highway here on Saturday evening.
Police said the deceased were identified as C.Ramar (47), R.Thangammal (47) and R.Arunjunai.
Five others travelling in the ill-fated autorickshaw, who sustained grievous injuries in the accident were admitted to Virudhunagar Government Hospital.
