All officers to receive spl training in phase: Telangana DGP

Hyderabad, Apr 1 (UNI) Telangana Director General of Police (DGP)Jitender on Tuesday said steps have been taken to select some police officers from each district of the state and provide them with special training.
All police officers in the state will be provided the special training in phases, the DGP said.
In this training program, the DGP himself participated and directly discussed policies and important issues with the officers.
He said the prestige of the police department depends on the performance of the Station House Officers.
He said that SHOs should work to ensure justice to the victims of crime and bring on book the offenders ensuing convictions.
About 36 Station House officers ( Inspector/SIs) from all districts of the state attended the training.
Additional DGP (Law and Order) Mahesh M Bhagwat, AIG Law and Order Ramana Kumar and others participated in this programme. UNI KNR SSP
