NITI Aayog delegation meets AP Chief Secretary

Vijayawada, Mar 28 (UNI) A NITI Aayog delegation met Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand at the CS camp office in Vijayawada on Friday to discuss the strategic roadmap to be brought in the energy sector in the state.
the dicussions centred on the issues to be taken up to formulate a strategic roadmap for cost-effective energy transition. Speaking on this occasion,Vijayanand explained to the NITI Aayog delegation the steps being taken by the Andhra Pradesh government to achieve Net Zero targets in the state by 2047.
In particular, he said that under the 2024 Integrated Clean Energy Policy, it has been targeted to establish renewable energy capacity of more than 160 gigawatts (GW). The state government is taking major steps for the development of renewable energy sources, as part of which solar, wind power generation and green hydrogen power generation The CS explained that efforts are being made to attract large investments in various sectors and set up several projects.

Kochi, Apr 3 (UNI) The Union Ministry of Corporate Affairs on Thursday gave its approval for prosecution proceedings against Veena Vijayan, the daughter of Kerala Chief Minister K M Vijayan, in the CMRL payoff case.The approval is on the basis of the chargesheet filed against Veena Vijayan by the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) alleging that she received Rs 2.7 crore without providing any service to the CMRL.
