Sri Lanka Navy seizes 323 kg Kerala cannabis, 4 held

Colombo (Sri Lanka), Apr 30 (UNI) Sri Lanka Navy seized 322.860 kg of cannabis allegedly smuggled from Kerala and arrested four persons in connection with the smuggling racket.
In an official statement issued here on Wednesday, the Sri Lankan Navy said a search operation was carried out by the Northern Naval Command by deploying a naval craft ‘SLNS Uththara’ on receiving credible information in the Point Pedro sea area on Tuesday.
The naval personnel intercepted two dinghies and recovered 322.860 kg of Kerala cannabis being smuggled to the Island nation.
