Nigerian drug peddler nabbed in Hyderabad, 7 grams of cocaine seized

Hyderabad, Mar 24 (UNI) The city police have arrested a Nigerian drug peddler and seized seven grams of cocaine and two mobile phones from him.
On credible information, the Commissioner’s Task Force, Central Zone Team, along with Kachiguda Police, arrested a Nigerian drug peddler, Ngwuchukwu Godwin Ifeanyi (34), a resident of Kharghar, Mumbai, near D-Mart Road, Kachiguda, on Sunday when he was waiting to deliver seven grams of cocaine to a customer, a police statement said on Monday.
According to the police, Godwin, a native of Enugu State, Nigeria, came to India in 2015 on a student visa and joined a pharmacy college in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. However, after his visa expired in 2016, he continued to stay illegally in India. Influenced by his Nigerian associates involved in drug trafficking, he began procuring and selling cocaine.
