Employment works in full swing in Telangana; Minister urges Centre to double work days

Hyderabad, June 24 (UNI) Employment guarantee works are progressing rapidly across Telangana, with the state achieving 70 per cent of its annual target within the first two months.
Of the 6.5 crore workdays allocated by the Centre under the employment guarantee scheme, 4.53 crore workdays have already been completed.
Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Minister Dr Danasari Anasuya Seethakka revealed that over 28.48 lakh labourers from 18.9 lakh families have been engaged this year, with 1,127 families completing the maximum 100 workdays.

Bengaluru, July 3 (UNI) Amid rising concern over a surge in sudden deaths — nearly 70 reported in Karnataka’s Hassan district over the past two months — Dr Manoj V Murhekar, senior scientist at the Indian Council of Medical Research today clarified that current scientific evidence does not link COVID-19 vaccination to such fatalities.
