BJP alleges massive corruption in Karnataka Wakf Board, cites Commission report

Bengaluru, Mar 8 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Lahar Singh Siroya has levelled serious allegations of largescale corruption in the Karnataka Wakf Board, citing findings from the Anand Commission report.
The Commission, which investigated mismanagement and financial irregularities, estimated losses amounting to a staggering ₹2 lakh crore in the report.
Siroya accused the Congress government of deliberately ignoring the explosive findings of the Anand Commission report. "Instead of taking action, the government has suppressed the report and failed to initiate any corrective measures," he told reporters in a press conference here on Saturday.
