Telangana: New policy for journalists’ welfare Soon: Minister Seethakka

Hyderabad, Mar 6 (UNI) Telangana Women and Child Welfare, Panchayati Raj, and Rural Development Minister Dr Danasari Anasuya Seethakka announced plans to introduce a new policy for the welfare and development of journalists in the state.
Speaking at the International Women’s Day celebrations organized by The Journalist Cooperative Housing Society Limited in Jubilee Hills on Thursday, Seethakka said she would discuss with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy issues concerning journalists, including welfare, medical benefits, salaries, and overall development, with the goal of formulating a comprehensive policy.
Attending as the chief guest, the minister honoured senior women journalists and praised their contributions to the field. Society President Brahmandabheri Goparaju briefed her on the society's history and ongoing efforts to support journalists.
