Three women killed in TN cracker unit blast, Stalin announces solatium

Chennai, Feb 24 (UNI) In a tragic incident, three women were killed in a blast at a private cracker manufacturing unit at Kambainallur village in Kaarimangalam Taluk in Dharmapuri district of Tamil Nadu on Monday afternoon.
An official release said Chief Minister M K Stalin expressed sorrow over the incident and announced a solatium of Rs four lakh each to their families.
He said the blast occurred at a private cracker unit at around 1400 hrs in which three women, Thirumalar (38), Senbagam (35) and Thirumanju (33) were killed on the spot.
