Chennai, Feb 28 (UNI) Reiterating his strong opposition to BJP-led government's move to impose Hindi and the proposed delimitation of Lok Sabha seats, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M.K. Stalin said it would severely affect the state's self-respect, social justice and welfare schemes.
In a video message on the eve of his birthday, Mr Stalin said the State was at present facing two key issues of language war and the delimitation exercise, which concerned the rights of the State.
Appealing to the party cadres to take the Centre's real motive behind this to the people, he said delimitation of Lok sabha seats based on population would greatly affect Tamil Nadu's self-respect, social justice and welfare schemes.
