Hyderabad, Feb 23 (UNI) A section of the roof, approximately 3 meters in length, of the under-construction Srisailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) tunnel collapsed on Saturday near Domalapenta in Nagarkurnool District, Telangana. The incident has left 6-8 workers feared trapped inside.
Rescue operations are in full swing, with the Telangana & Andhra Sub Area coordinating efforts to ensure the swift evacuation of those trapped.
The Engineer Task Force (ETF) of the Bison Division from Secunderabad has been deployed to assist in the operation.
